Ta Da!

I'd just like to say up front that this is hands down the best cover Bantam has ever done for me, ever, #2 being Hidden Warrior. Of course many of you will have different mental pictures of Seregil, but this is not a bad rendering, for me at least. I quite like it. :-)

For the best view, click on the picture, then again to enlarge it. And you get to read the back cover copy, too. You're the first ones!

A very lovely Seregil, indeed!
Wow! This is gorgeous! I love the details of the ring, the scar, the sword's pommel. And the cover copy - you are so deliciously mean to them (and us)!

Oh dear, it's going to be a very long wait!

Oh man, you're right. That's awesome! Hidden Warrior is still my favorite, but this is very close #2.

You can see the scar! <333

Oh, wow, that's probably my favorite Nightrunner cover so far. I'm so excited to read it now!

Well. Well. That is certainly very nice. Can't wait to see it close up and in person.

Ok, we already knew that seregil is gorgeous, but... WOW!

And the back cover is so... tantalizing. I just can't wait to have it. I also have to stop my "fanboy"mind that is toying with ideas concerning Seregil and Alec as slaves...

Did I mention that the words "naked" "chained" and "again" appear a number of times, and often in the same sentence?

Oh, I almost forgot. And "whip".

No longer quite so jealous of the Japanese covers. :D That is gorgeous artwork, definitely the best of the Nigthrunner series.

As for the back cover - you're so mean to them. XD I'm looking forward to it!

What a wonderful cover! It makes me want to run out and immediately put in an order for it, even though it will be a long wait until it reaches us readers... *sigh*

Very nicely done! I love the expression on Seregil's face. And the ships in the background.

So now we dig in and wait. ^^

Wow, that is really cool! It's funny, "Hidden Warrior" is my other favorite, too. Seregil looks older than I pictured him (I'm such a freak for accuracy) but I won't complain because it's so awesome anyway. :D

And the back cover copy! *dies in anticipation*

Oooooooooooooh! It doens't exactly mesh with my own mental image but it's a very good image indeed. My first reaction: That guy is HOT! Which is appropriate :)

On a related note, I was just ordering a book for myself via Amazon and noticed that this book was sitting in my Shopping Cart from last month when I intended to pre-order. I went ahead and did that. You can bet that the second I get the package in the mail next June I will tear it open, stare at this lovely cover and begin to read, devil may care.

That's amazing :D I think that's more or less exactly how he should look!

The blurb on the back has me a little worried, however. Slavery! How will they make it out of this one?

Hello Lynn,
Awesome cover!
- That teaser on in the back of the cover is torturing your readers for getting their hands on that book, you know. *laughs*
Much looking forward to it!
If you're ever in need fpr new CDs with 'soundtracks', you know where to ask!

Oh my gosh! I knew Seregil was hot, but WOW! Gorgeous cover, as well as the harbor picture on the back.

The teaser is just... I'm dying here. July just isn't going to be here soon enough. :-)

OHMYGOD I could just like, die right here from excitement! I want to reread the first three books terribly badly, but I know that if I do, I really will die from anticipation of the new installment! I must hold out for a while yet~

Thank you for the preview! The release of that book is seriously a highlight of my 2008 year. ♥

Lovely! Definitely better looking than the other Nightrunner covers (and no spoilers this time, I think).

The copy looks good. Do you have much input with the summary blurbs for your books? They seem a lot more accurate than some of the publisher horrors I've seen on some otherwise great books.

Thanks for the tantalizing update!

Yes, my editor has been great about running the rough copy by me, and letting me suggest or even rewrite it. I did have a hand in this one, too. They even let me kibbitz a bit on the cover art when it was in the planning stage, and the results show they listened.
